MY JOURNEY
Every meaningful life is shaped by choices, challenges, relationships, and unexpected opportunities. From my early years in Nepal to banking, insurance, investment services, entrepreneurship, and community leadership in America, my journey has been one of continuous learning, adaptation, and growth.
Explore the milestones, turning points, and defining experiences that shaped who I am today — and continue to guide my purpose of helping others grow and succeed.
A Foundation Built on Purpose
Manoj Tuladhar’s story began in Nepal, where family, education, culture, and community shaped the values that would guide his life. From an early age, he developed a strong appreciation for responsibility, relationships, continuous learning, and the importance of contributing beyond oneself.
Those early influences formed a philosophy he continues to carry today: achievement has greater meaning when it strengthens families, develops people, and contributes positively to the community. That belief eventually became the foundation connecting his careers in banking, financial services, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community leadership.

Banking and Early Ambitions
In 1991, Manoj began a professional banking career in Nepal, building experience with Nepal Grindlays Bank, later Standard Chartered Bank, and NCC Bank. His responsibilities expanded from banking operations and client relationships to credit, risk management, branch management, and leadership.
Nearly two decades in banking became his professional foundation. Beyond understanding money and financial institutions, those years taught him the importance of trust, discipline, integrity, relationships, and sound decision-making — principles that would later influence his approach to entrepreneurship and financial education.

Building a Business of Impact
After moving to the United States and beginning a new chapter of life, Manoj transitioned into insurance and financial services. In 2013, he joined Premier Financial Alliance, where he began building a business while developing and mentoring other financial professionals.
In 2015, he founded Sagun Financials with a vision extending beyond selling financial products. His goal was to educate families and businesses about protection, health coverage, Medicare, retirement, and financial strategies while building an organization where other professionals could grow into successful entrepreneurs and leaders.

Leadership and Community Service
Beyond business, Manoj has remained deeply involved in community leadership. His service has included Rotary leadership in Nepal and continued involvement in cultural, educational, charitable, and community initiatives after establishing his life in Colorado.
His work with Colorado’s Newah community reflects a particular commitment to preserving heritage while connecting generations. Through cultural celebrations, community programs, financial education, and charitable initiatives, he believes professional success carries a responsibility to contribute time, knowledge, resources, and leadership to others.

A Legacy of Mentorship
Perhaps the most meaningful part of Manoj’s professional journey is helping other people discover their own potential. Through thousands of trainings, presentations, field-development sessions, and personal conversations, he has spent more than a decade teaching and developing financial professionals.
His philosophy has gradually evolved from pursuing success to pursuing significance. Income, awards, titles, and recognition represent milestones, but they are not the final destination. For Manoj, the greater accomplishment is seeing someone he mentored develop confidence, create financial independence, become a leader, and eventually help someone else do the same.

IN MY OWN WORDS
From Success to Significance

CHAPTER ONE
Foundations & Transformation
My early life in Nepal taught me lessons that no professional title could replace. Family, education, culture, relationships, and responsibility shaped my understanding of success. Later, nearly two decades in banking taught me discipline, financial principles, leadership, and the importance of earning people’s trust.
Moving to America meant beginning again. In January 2011, I joined Mutual of Omaha and started rebuilding my financial career in the United States. I progressed from insurance into investment services and became an Investment Advisor. That experience expanded my understanding of the American financial system and prepared me for the entrepreneurial journey that followed.
CHAPTER TWO
Building People
My transition from banking to insurance, investment services, and eventually entrepreneurship changed more than my profession — it changed how I viewed success. Through financial services, I discovered that my experience could be used not only to serve clients, but also to teach, mentor, and help others build their own careers and businesses.
That realization became increasingly important to me. Sagun Financials, years of training and mentorship, and my involvement in community and cultural organizations all grew from the same belief: our achievements become more meaningful when they create opportunities for other people.
“
Success is what you achieve for yourself. Significance begins when your success helps someone else succeed.
