Family is where my first lessons in life began. From Nepal to Colorado, it has remained the place that gives every achievement its meaning — and the culture we carry is the thread that connects one generation to the next.
WHERE IT BEGINS
Roots That Run Deep
Growing up in Nepal, I learned that family is where our first lessons in life begin. Respect for elders, responsibility toward one another, education, hard work, culture, and staying connected were values woven naturally into everyday life. Those early foundations have remained with me through every chapter of my journey.
As life carried me from Nepal to the United States, many things changed — country, career, opportunities, and circumstances — but the importance of family never did. Family has remained the place where achievements are celebrated, challenges are shared, traditions are preserved, and I am reminded of what truly matters.
A NEW GENERATION
Building Our Own Traditions
With my wife and life partner, Ramita Tuladhar, I have built a family grounded in love, partnership, responsibility, and shared dreams. Together, we raised our two sons, Eroj and Abiral, while building a new life in America without losing the culture and values that shaped us in Nepal.
Today, our family has entered another beautiful chapter with Eroj, his wife Giann, and the arrival of our granddaughter, Gia Zenia. Becoming grandparents has given Ramita and me a new perspective on legacy — reminding us that what passes from one generation to another is not only what we build, but the love, values, memories, and examples we leave behind.

Carrying Newah Culture Forward
Our Newah heritage is part of who we are. Its language, festivals, food, music, and traditions connect our family to the generations who came before us — and remind us that identity is something we carry with us wherever life leads.
Building a life in Colorado made preserving that heritage even more important. Through cultural celebrations, community programs, and working alongside Colorado’s Newah community, Ramita and I have tried to make sure our children and granddaughter grow up knowing where they come from and feeling proud of it.
